Entering New Places

As 2025 came to an end, I caught myself thinking about what actually made the year feel worth the effort. One moment hit different: seeing my story in Chamber630’s Summer 2025 newsletter. It wasn’t just “nice recognition.” It felt personal. It felt earned.

Being part of Chamber630 has pushed me in ways I didn’t expect. I’m not naturally the type to walk into a room full of business owners and start talking like I’ve got everything figured out. But showing up anyway, having conversations, and connecting with people who want to see others grow changed me fast. It made running my cleaning business feel less lonely and more supported.

What made the feature meaningful was how honest it was. They shared why I started this business, how I balance school with cleaning homes and offices, and what I’m aiming for long term. Seeing that written out by someone else forced me to pause. I’m so used to just moving from task to task that I don’t always notice the progress.

That moment reminded me of something simple: community matters. Surrounding yourself with people who cheer you on, push you, and genuinely want to see you succeed makes the hard days easier and the big goals feel closer.

Being featured wasn’t the finish line. It was a reminder that I’m building something real, step by step, and people are watching it grow.
